Coming Soon – New Payment Gateway for MCS Database

MCS has announced a planned move to a new, easier payment gateway in the MCS Installation Database (MID).

This upgrade to the MID will see a move away from the current PayPal and credit purchasing system, towards a pay as you go, one click payment method via debit or credit card.

Tim Vass, Operations Manager at MCS has been working on the development work, he said: “We’ve been listening to feedback from our Contractor community and this upgrade to the payment functionality in the MID will make certificate creation and transactions within the system so much simpler.”

As we launch, there will be a transition period to ensure that existing credits can still be used. Once they have been spent, the account will revert to a debit or credit card payment mechanism for future purchases.

The new payment gateway is currently undergoing testing and is set to launch early September.
