Furlough Deadline Approaches

The government announced last week that the final date for putting employees on furlough for the first time, is currently scheduled to be Wednesday 10th June.

This was alongside other information about extending furlough to the end of October and the introduction of a ‘flexible furlough’ option from 1st July.

The cut off date has been introduced to restrict furlough from 1st July onwards only to those who have been furloughed for a minimum of three weeks before then.
