Webinar Event: Applying for the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)

OFGEM x MCS webinar: Applying for the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)

Thursday 26th August, 12.30pm – 1.30pm

The Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (DRHI) scheme provides payments to the owner/occupiers of eligible properties who install and use renewable energy systems to heat their homes. The scheme provides access to funding for the owner of a renewable heating system who meets the eligibility criteria of the scheme. Should accreditation be granted participants can access payments for a 7-year period, subject to complying with ongoing scheme obligations.

This webinar, for MCS certified Installers, will be hosted by MCS and presented by representatives from OFGEM who will explain some of the key eligibility criteria of the DRHI scheme that sit outside the MCS standards.

During the session, OFGEM will run through how your customers can avoid some of the common pitfalls seen in DRHI applications and highlight the importance of ensuring installations are fully compliant with the eligibility criteria. Areas of focus will be the requirements of metering for payment based on levels of occupancy as well as the application process in general and how to ensure that your customers are able to submit high quality applications for accreditation.
