MCS is back for Solar & Storage Live 2024

MCS in talks on stand at InstallerSHOW 2023.

MCS is attending Solar & Storage Live 2024, the UK’s largest renewable energy exhibition, Tuesday 24 – Thursday 26 September at the NEC Birmingham.

At this year’s show, we will be showcasing our commitment to home-grown energy, training, and quality in the solar sector.

Join us on stand A73 where we will be discussing the process, importance and benefits of becoming certified to install solar PV and battery storage. From the skills and qualifications you need to demonstrate competency, to the benefits for both you and your consumers of becoming an MCS certified business. After recently announcing the updated timeline of the redevelopment of the Scheme, our friendly team will also be available to talk you through the six key changes to the Scheme.

We will once again be partnering with Solar Energy UK to deliver the Installer Training Hub, for its biggest year yet! We will be hosting eight sessions over the three-day show, on a variety of hot topics in the solar & storage industry. Our Sector Skills Manager, Stephen Knight, will be delivering sessions on skills & training; our Senior Helpdesk Analyst, Jordan Williams, will be available to talk you through the importance of becoming certified for solar PV and battery storage; and our Technical Manager, Lucy McKenzie will be providing ‘An MCS update on solar & storage Standards’.

You’ll also be able to catch members of our team on a series of panel discussions throughout this year’s show, including ‘An update on the changes to MCS’. This will be delivered by our CEO Ian Rippin from 12.20pm – 12.40pm on Tuesday 24 September in the Everything Installer Theatre.

Our day-by-day agenda has not been finalised, but more details on our range of dedicated Solar & Storage Live events and networking opportunities will be shared across our social media channels in the coming weeks. Follow us on our social media channels to stay up to date.
