HELP WITH TECHNICAL QUERIES
A principle aim of the MCS Standards is to provide clarity in describing Scheme requirements. Updated versions are published to help achieve that. However, there may be instances where you might want to seek further clarification. You may want further guidance on how to interpret a particular definition in an Installation Standard, or how to comply with a specific clause, for example.
If you would like to request assistance from MCS with a query, please complete our Technical Query Form and someone from our Scheme Support team should be able to guide you in the right direction.

Please note: our Scheme Support team are field based and may not be able to respond to your query immediately. We aim to answer all technical queries within 10 working days, however, please be aware that during peak periods a response may take longer. Your Certification Body may be able to respond sooner than this, so we would recommend that you contact them in the first instance if appropriate.
MCS is not able to offer technical design advice. MCS can respond to queries relating to MCS Standards and the requirements therein. Please ensure that you have referred to the relevant MCS Standard(s) and other applicable referenced Standards before submitting your query.
