Solar & Storage Live 2022: MCS Showcase Solar PV and Battery Storage

MCS is attending Solar & Storage Live 2022, the UK’s largest renewable energy exhibition, 18 – 20 October 2022 at the NEC Birmingham.

At this year’s show, we will be showcasing our commitment to home-grown energy, skills, and quality in the solar sector.

Join us on stand F52 where we will be discussing how you can become MCS certified for Solar PV and Battery Storage, to allow customers to make the most of the electricity generated from solar power.

We will also be collaborating with Solar Energy UK to deliver a brand-new Installer Training Hub, where you can get hands-on with Solar PV module installation rigs, battery and inverter installation walls. Registration opens soon to see experts demonstrate installation and commissioning of Solar PV, Battery Storage, and inverter products.

Industry-leading insights and networking

As part of this year’s impressive schedule of presentations and seminars at Solar & Storage Live, we will be hosting panel discussions with a wealth of industry experts.

On day two, Ian Rippin, CEO of MCS, will join key industry experts to examine how consumer confidence in Solar PV and Battery Storage can be raised by de-risking the consumer journey. This panel will run from 12.30pm-1.10pm in the Commercial and Industrial Solar Theatre.

Shortly after, from 1.30pm – 2.10pm, MCS market development director, Dan White, and MCS scheme manager, Alex Hughes, will be co-chairing a panel on the latest MCS data and providing a first look at the upcoming real-time MCS Data Dashboard.

The discussion will provide a comprehensive overview of the adoption of small-scale renewables from March 2020 to the end of 2021. The session will also examine the benefits of Solar PV for homeowners, as well as trends in a post-Feed-in-Tariff world.

During the panel, we will also provide more details on our involvement in Solar Skills London a project we are spearheading alongside Solar Energy UK and the Mayor of London to create a dedicated pipeline of talent for the solar industry in the capital and beyond.

Joining Dan and Alex on the panel Solar PV Powering On will be:
